    In recent years, Hydrological Services has prepared and delivered technical training modules to hydrographic staff within Australia and overseas.
    Hydrological Services continues to be an active supporter of the Australian Hydrographers Association National Training and Certification Program for hydrographers.

    In 2009, work was completed on a purpose built training facility at our Warwick farm, Sydney complex. Training courses, under the auspices of the AHA and NSW TAFE (OTEN College) in Hydrographic Basics — Course No. 27743) have been delivered to staff from:
    • NSW Department of Water
    • Manly Hydraulics Laboratory
    • Thiess Services
    • Snowy Hydro Ltd
    • EnvironMine Data Services
    • ALS / Ecowise Environmental

    Modules developed and delivered to date include:
    • Hydrometric Site Selection
    • Hydrometric Site Installation
    • Theory of Water Level Measurement
    • Current Meter Gauging Theory and Practical)
    • Introduction to Discharge Rating Curves
    • Stream Station Survey (Theory and Practical)
    • Current Meter Maintenance and Calibration (Theory and Practical)
    • Sediment Sampling

    Hydrological Services, can tailor training courses to individual client needs, with the ability to deliver training anywhere in the world.
